Google XML Sitemap for Images WordPress Plugin helps you in generating Image XML Sitemap for your WordPress Blog. In order to install this WordPress plugin in your Blog, simply follow the steps given below:

1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
3. Expand the Tools menu from WordPress Sidebar and select Image Sitemap
4. Click the Generate Sitemap button to create your XML Sitemap for Images

Once you have created your Sitemap, you can submit it to Google using Webmaster Tools:

While writing this post, the only thing missing in this awesome plugin is as follows:

• The Plugin can’t refresh/generate a Fresh XML Sitemap as soon as some post/page in WordPress is added/modified with New Images. Hence everytime you have to click Generate Image Sitemap from the Plugin’s Option Page – Hope this gets fixed soon in the upcoming version of the plugin
