How to Bulk/Mass Unfollow Twitter Users? – Working Method

If you are looking for an Online Twitter Tool that can Bulk Unfollow/Mass Unfollow Twitter User, than this post is going to help you a lot.

• You can Unfollow those Twitter Users who are not following you (Not Following Back)

How to Mass/Bulk Unfollow Twitter Users?

1. Go to ManageFiltter and Click Start. The Next Page will ask for Twitter Connection/Authorization, click on Connect to Twitter:

The immediate next page will redirect you to Official Twitter Authorization Page stating The application ManageFlitter by Melon Media would like the ability to access and update your data on Twitter. Enter your desired Twitter Account Username (using which you want to unfollow people) and Password, and click Allow:

3. If your Login is successful, Twitter will redirect your browser back to the ManageFiltter Website, where it starts talking (communicating) with your Twitter Account Database:

4. Once the Information Downloading process is over at ManageFiltter Server Side, you will see all those people who you are currently following!

5. Now You can see the List of all those Twitter Accounts:

• Who are not following you (Not Following Back)
• Who don’t have a Twitter Profile Image (No Profile Image)
• Who are Inactive/Haven’t tweeted/updated their status from past many month/years! (Inactive)
• Who tweets a lot/SPAM your Twitter Timeline (Talkative)
• Who tweets very very less (Quiet)
• Who you are currently following (Show All)

by clicking on appropriate Tab at the Left Hand Side of ManageFiltter Page:

6. Once you have decided which category of Twitter Users you are going to Unfollow in Bulk, Check All/CheckFox Firefox Addon comes very handy in this step. We make use of Check All/CheckFox Firefox Addon, as because there’s NO Select All Button anywhere on the ManageFiltter Page where it shows the Twitter User List:

In order to use Check All Firefox Addon Feature, Hit CTRL + A (Control + A) Button on your Keyboard and the whole page will get selected. Now click on a Blank Area anywhere in the page and select Check All Selected Checkboxes:

You can see ALL the check Boxes on the whole Page gets Checked/Selected at Once!

7. Now in order to Mass Unfollow all Selected Twitter Users, click Unfollow 100 Selected Button (as you can select 100 Twitter Users per page) present at the Left Hand Side of the Page:

After you have unfollowed many people, you can Undo this Unfollowing process OR permanently clear the whole list of people you just unfollowed:

Repeat 6th step onwards, in order to Unfollow More People on Twitter. Click Next to navigate to the next page:

Note:

1. As of 6-December-2010, the above method is working perfectly. And hope, it works in future too.

2. You can Unfollow 1500 Twitter Accounts every 24 Hours using this Service. In case, you are following thousands of people, it will take some days:

3. Once you click on Unfollow 100 Selected Button, the service will take some time to process your Unfollow request, as it’s communicating with Twitter Server/API:
