But still it’s possible to send files of larger size via E-mail. This post features 3 Best Ways regarding How to Send Files larger than 20 MB via E-mail?

HostGator

Update: Upload.Sc is now out of World Wide Web (Not Working). It’s better to make use of this Post – More better option than Upload.Sc!

1. Use Upload.Sc

Upload.Sc is really a cool service which requires no registration at all. The maximum file size you can attach here is 100 MB. Whether it is .zip file or .exe file, the service supports all file formats.

Just enter the E-mail address of the recipient you want to send large file along with short description. The service will send a Master Link to the recepient of the E-mail as well as to you. Only by this Master Link the uploaded file can be retrieved. Below is a Sample Form which you have to fill before uploading a file:

The files at upload.sc are stored for 1 Month. Each and every file are thoroughly scanned in their servers. So what your recipient gets is a completely Virus/Spyware Free File. Moreover, a single file can be downloaded many times without any download restriction at all.

2. Use Hj-Split

Hj-Split of the best and widely used file trimming utility.  Whatever the file size is, just set the utility to trim the parts into 15 MB or less.

Why 15 MB or less? As because, When you add an attachment, the size of a file may increase because transport encoding are automatically added. (Transport encoding are the information that allows your message to be safely sent and read.)

This means that in some cases, attachments that are 17 to 20MB in size may push the total message size above 20MB.

You can read the whole tutorial for using Hj-Split right here – It’s Really Simply!

3. Use Lycos

Lycos offers you Unlimited attachment. There is no File Size Restriction. But the thing is that you can’t send large files to users using other e-mail services (if the file size is greater than 10 MB or 20 MB), like Gmail, Yahoo! etc.

If one has got Lycos e-mail address than feel free to send files having no apparent file size limit.
