Yahoo! Mail is the best way to stay in touch with your near and dear ones. With Unlimited Storage for each user, Yahoo! Mail is constantly adding new features to the Mail Interface.
Now How to Add New Yahoo! Applications (Yahoo! Apps) to your Inbox as soon as they are launched? It’s really very easy!
Recently Yahoo! announced to add Applications from PayPal, Zumo Drive, Picnik, OtherInbox and Photobucket in each and every Inbox.
But these Applications are not available to all immediately. Either you have to wait for a long time, till Yahoo! Mail introduces new Applications for all users or you have to request a free setup from Yahoo! as soon as New Applications are launched.
In this post we will see How to request for new applications as soon as they are launched?:
1. First of all make sure that you are using New Yahoo! Mail Interface, as these new Apps will NOT work with Classic Yahoo! Mail Interface. To switch to New Yahoo! Mail Interface automatically and immediately after login, use this LINK
2. These new Apps are currently available for US People only or for People whose Preferred Content is set to Yahoo! US. In order to select Yahoo! US as your preferred content, follow these simple steps:
- Click on Options and then on Mail Options as shown below:
- After that Click on Accounts:
- Now Click Account Information:
- As soon as you click on Account Information, a new Window/Tab will open and ask for your Password again. Just enter your password and you will be redirected to your Main Yahoo! Account Configuration Page.
- Now you will see Member Information Category as follows:
- Click Edit and Change your Preferred Content to Yahoo! US.
3. Now as soon as you are done with the above, just go to following URL:
http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/applications
and Enter your E-mail Address there. Yahoo! Team will setup New Applications for your Account within 3-4 Days.
Note: When you use an app, the app developer can access and store the content of your email messages and any personal information you provide the app. Learn more about using apps on Yahoo!
P.S: I have tested the above thing with my E-mail Address which have yahoo.com as it’s main E-mail Domain (@yahoo.com). I am not sure, whether the above will work for @yahoo.co.in , @yahoo.co.uk etc.
