Bypass Windows XP Login Screen

Indeed Microsoft Windows XP is the widely used and most preferred Operating System round the World. Majority of people use it for single handed use and someone of them will definitely want to get rid of that Windows login screen (shown below). Now how to do this? So that you directly land to your Desktop, here’s the way.

Follow these simple steps to Bypass Windows XP Login Screen:

  • Go to Start|Run (Be sure you are in the Administrative Account)
  • Now type control userpasswords2
  • A new windows will pop up
  • Under the User Tab you will find a check box saying User Must enter a Username & Password to use this computer. Simply Uncheck it.
  • Now if you have Multiple User Logins, then it will ask you which login you would like to automatically log into. Enter the Username and the Password, if any, and click OK.
  • Restart the machine and you will directly land into the desktop.
