Fastly Transfer Files from Server to Server using RapidShare!

RapidShare is one of the widely used File Sharing Service around the World.

rapidshare

Now with RapidShare, you can Transfer Files from Server to Server in a Fastest Possible Manner. This feature is completely free and just takes milli-seconds/seconds to get completed. In exceptional cases, it will take some minutes.

Following are some reasons why you should use this Feature:

1. Suppose you want to download a Freeware Software or some file in .pdf (Adobe Reader), .doc (Word), .xls (Excel), .ppt (Power Point) etc. format, from a particular site. You also got the Direct Download Link to that Particular Freeware or File.

But due to some unavoidable problems (maybe due to Server Down, Problem with your Browser etc.), you are unable to download the file.

2. You want to share a File / Freeware with a Person or group of People, but don’t want to share it’s Original Download Link with others.

3. The Possibilities can be even more.

Now How to Transfer Files from Server to Server using RapidShare:

1. You will have to create a New Collector Account first in Rapidshare by Uploading Some Files. If you already got a Collector’s Account there, simply Login to your Dashboard.

2. Now as soon as you land on the Dashboard of Rapidshare, you can see a Link known as Remote Uploads:

With Remote Upload you can quickly and easily copy files from other servers directly into your RapidShare Account.

Simply enter the Direct Link of the file in the Box and Click Add.

3. You have to Refresh the Page sometimes, in order to see the Download Status. Believe me, it’s Super Fast.

* Try Out the following PDF File Direct Link:

http://210.212.145.131/downloads/REVALUATION%20FORM.pdf – This is the Direct Link to my University Exam’s Revaluation Form.

See the Speed Yourself. You can also try other Direct Links to Freewares / Files of different file sizes.

Before using this Feature, following points must be considered:

  • RapidShare supports only http:// and ftp://
  • The download link must directly point to the targeted file without redirecting, otherwise the redirecting page will be copied.
  • Your new links will appear after the upload in the Collector’s Zone is completed.
  • Files must not be larger than 200 Megabyte (200 MB). Otherwise the upload will be cancelled.
  • If a combination of login & password is necessary to access the files, you can adjust the link accordingly, using the following Syntax:

ftp://LOGIN:PASSWORD@DOMAIN/PATH_TO_FILE

The main intention of this Post is to spread awareness about the Remote Upload feature of RapidShare ONLY. Download of Freewares and Personal/Uncopyrighted Files are always encouraged through this feature.
