Nice to know this but If my ID is sumeet.naik@gmail.com then I get the mails sent to sumeet.naik@gmail.com , sumeetnaik@gmail (without dot), and sumeet.naik@googlemail.com and maybe(not sure) even to sumeetnaik@googlemail.com .. So if u register for one ID , u can get nearly 4 ID’s..

You are absolutely right and you might like to read this and this Post :)

E.g. Here in India, Gmail.com is the Primary Domain Name and Googlemail.com can be considered as Secondary Domain Name. If we login to our Google Email Account, it will always show yourname@gmail.com, not yourname@googlemail.com. This means Gmail.com is set to default for all Indians when they are registering for/using Google Email Account.

UK and Germany people have to stick with Googlemail.com, as it’s set as default in their country. But with the use of Links mentioned in above post, anyone can register for Gmail.com or Googlemail.com – No matter which Domain is set as default in their country :)

Sorry to hear that you are in trouble :( Following can be 2 reasons because of which you are unable to access your Email Account:

    * Google has disabled your Gmail Account
    * Your Account has been Hacked/Compromised

The only solution for both the above mentioned cases is to fill THIS FORM – Google will verify your Account associated details and will give your account back to you, if the details matches. This is the Only solution for your problem.

Please also go through following posts, as these may help you:

    * Prepare yourself before your Gmail Account gets Hacked
    * How to check whether your Gmail Account is Hacked or Not?

Feel free to Contact Me, if I can assist you further

    With Best Wishes :)
