Follow these simple steps to create a Computer Locking Desktop Shortcut:
- Right Click on any empty area in your desktop, Go to New|Shortcut.
- A Create Shortcut will appear. Simply type what is exactly written below:
C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation
- Now click Next.
- Enter the name of your shortcut like Lock Desktop.
- You can also select an Icon for your newly created Icon. Simply Right Click on the Icon, Go to Properties.
- Click Browse and select shell32.dll and select your desired icon from a list of icons.
Alternatively use Windows Key + L Key combination
