Have you Checked your Orkut SPAM Folder?

Orkut is one of the widely used Social Networking site around the World. As per Alexa, users from India, Brazil and United States tops the chart.

Some months back Orkut implemented a SPAM Folder / SPAM Inbox for all user profiles and communities. This step was taken in order to prevent Advertising URLs, Bad Site URLs etc. But still Have you Checked your Orkut SPAM Folder?

The reason for this is, Orkut is marking many legitimate Scraps and Community Topics/Messages as SPAM! These messages usually contains URL’s which links to other sites or links to other sites via URL Shortening Services.

Whenever someone posts any Scrap Message or Community Message containing URLs, there’s already a CAPTCHA for user confirmation and for preventing SPAM Messages. But still, Orkut is marking many genuine messages as SPAM!

With Reference to above Screenshot, it’s recommended that you regularly check out your Profile/Community SPAM Folder and De Spam all legitimate Messages!

Hope Google will work on this problem soon!
