Run Google Chrome on Windows 7 – 64 Bit Version

Google Chrome is one of the Fastest Browser and also giving full fledged competition to other Browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari etc.

Now it is Possible to Run Google Chrome on Windows 7 – 64 Bit Version. Many users complain that they are experiencing difficulties with Chrome in Windows 7 – 64 Bit Version. Now it’s possible to run Google Chrome on it, all you have to do is a very simple tweak.

Follow these Simple Steps to Run Google Chrome on Windows 7 – 64 Bit Version:

  • Right Click on Google Chrome icon and now Select Properties.
  • Go to Shortcut Tab and add --in-process-plugins after chrome.exe in Target field as shown below:

  • Now click Apply to save changes.
  • Now start Chrome on Windows 7 64 bit Version, it should Work.

    Make sure you put in two dashes if you type it by hand… It’s better to copy and paste but the wording is dash dash (–) before in-process-plugins.

    Well, it sort of works… every time I select an address I get the error message about compatibility and have to click “run program”

    I suppose Google will come up with a new version soon. At least I hope so.

    Well this trick has worked for most. Maybe your PC has some specific compatibility problem. Try to Copy Paste the Syntax written in the Post again or you have to wait for Google to come up with latest version.

    For Windows 7 64 bit (Win7 x64 RTM)
    Download using the Standalone installer.. it works..

    http://dl.google.com/chrome/install/195.21/chrome_installer.exe

    This number may change *** /195.21/ ** depending on the version. This is the latest version as on date
